Step 1
Cleansers
For eczema-prone or barrier-compromised skin, cleansing should be gentle and non-stripping.
Tetra Oleum™ Body Wash is ideal for daily use, as its oil-based formula cleanses without disrupting the skin barrier or worsening dryness and itch.
For an even simpler cleanse, Oatmeal Face & Body Bar Soap helps soothe irritation and calm itchy, reactive skin. Turmeric + Manuka Honey Face & Bar Soap is also a supportive option when skin is stable, offering gentle cleansing with added soothing benefits.
Keep water lukewarm, minimize friction, and follow immediately with hydration and a barrier-sealing balm.
Step 2
Moisturize
Eczema-prone and barrier-compromised skin needs hydration that soothes first, then protection to keep moisture in.
Start with Clerra™ Rehydrating Mist on damp skin to add lightweight hydration and help calm dryness and discomfort. Follow with Aloura™ Bare Body Milk Serum or Hydra™ Body Lotion to replenish moisture without overwhelming sensitive skin—Aloura is ideal when skin feels tight yet reactive, while Hydra offers deeper daily hydration.
Finish with Everlume™ Body Rescue Balm to seal moisture and protect the skin barrier, especially on eczema-prone areas like arms, legs, hands, and torso.
How to layer:
Mist → Milk or Lotion → Balm to seal
Step 3
Exfoliate
For eczema-prone or barrier-compromised skin, light exfoliation is usually recommended.
The barrier protection and hydration of Exfolis Body Scrub is perfect during non-flare ups. During flare-ups or active irritation, exfoliation can worsen inflammation and delay healing. Focus on hydration and barrier repair instead.
Rule of thumb: If skin is itchy, inflamed, or broken → skip exfoliation entirely.
Step 4
Treatment
Treatment for eczema-prone skin should focus on soothing, hydrating, and protecting, not stimulation.
Clerra™ Rehydrating Mist can be used throughout the day to relieve dryness and support hydration without rubbing or friction—especially helpful when skin feels tight or itchy between showers.
Avoid dry brushing, aggressive tools, or intense circulation treatments. These can aggravate compromised skin and trigger flare-ups.
If using any tools, keep pressure minimal, use plenty of slip, and stop immediately if skin reacts.
