Renewa™ AHA Face Resurfacer

LACTIC + GLYCOLIC ACID · KAOLIN · OLIVE SEED POLISH
The weekly reset that leaves the barrier alone.

Dead surface cells build up faster than skin sheds them, and that is most of what dullness and rough texture are. Renewa is a creamy exfoliating treatment that works two ways at once: lactic and glycolic acid loosen the bond holding spent cells on, and kaolin plus fine olive seed and cranberry seed powder polish them off. Squalane, aloe and rosehip oil keep it cushioned so skin finishes smooth and calm, not tight. Step 2 of the routine, once to three times a week.

How this supports longevity: clears the surface at a pace skin can keep up with, so the barrier stays intact while texture and tone even out over time.

Is it for your skin?

Anyone whose skin looks dull or feels rough despite cleansing well. Uneven texture and tone. Congested, oily patches. Anyone who has been burned by harsh scrubs or strong peels and wants a gentler weekly reset. Not for skin that is currently irritated or broken.

The science

Skin sheds its outer layer on a cycle that slows with age, sun and stress, so dead cells pile up and the surface turns rough and dull. Renewa uses two routes to clear them. Lactic and glycolic acid weaken the protein bonds holding spent cells in place, and kaolin, bentonite and fine seed powders lift them away as you massage. The difference from a standard scrub or peel is the base: squalane, glycerin, aloe leaf juice and rosehip oil in a cream, so the exfoliation happens without stripping the lipids the barrier depends on. Chamomile, green tea and a small amount of malic acid round it out.

How to use

After cleansing, spread a thin, even layer over damp skin and massage in light circles for 30 to 60 seconds, keeping clear of the eye area. Rinse well. Follow with Clerra mist and Signal Synq, then Everlume or an Ekoa oil to seal. Start once a week and move to two or three times only if your skin stays calm.

NOW

FEEL IT

Smoother under your fingertips before you have finished rinsing. A slight tingle from the acids is normal; tightness is not, because the cream base is doing half the work.

NEXT

EVEN TEXTURE

Used once or twice a week, rough patches and the dull, slightly gray cast of built-up cells clear. Skin reflects light more evenly and the products that follow sink in faster.

OVER TIME

TONE, NOT JUST TEXTURE

Regular, gentle exfoliation keeps cell turnover steady and the surface even. In studies, low-strength lactic and glycolic acid used over months improved roughness and uneven tone.

WHAT'S IN IT. WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND.

KEY ACTIVES.
DOSED RIGHT.

Two alpha hydroxy acids, a clay and a soft mineral-and-seed polish in a cream base. Here is what published research says about the three doing the most work — studies on the ingredients, not on this jar.

01 / 03
LACTIC ACID
+48% CERAMIDES
The gentlest of the common alpha hydroxy acids, and a molecule your skin already makes as part of its own moisturizing factor. Here it loosens the glue between spent surface cells so they rinse away, and it has a second job below the surface: it prompts skin to make more of its own ceramides.
In a double-blind study, lotions containing L-lactic acid raised stratum corneum ceramide levels by 48% and improved barrier function measured by water loss after a surfactant challenge. Adults, in vivo, with matching cell-culture work.
02 / 03
GLYCOLIC ACID
76% IMPROVED
The smallest alpha hydroxy acid, so it moves through the surface layers quickly. It dissolves the bonds between dead cells and is the reason Renewa gives a visible change in texture and tone rather than just a scrub.
In a 22-week double-blind, vehicle-controlled trial of 74 women aged 40–70, 76% of those using an 8% glycolic acid cream twice daily improved at least one grade in overall photodamage, versus 40% on vehicle. Leave-on cream at low strength, not a rinse-off.
03 / 03
KAOLIN
4 WEEKS
A soft white clay that binds excess oil and loosened debris while you massage, then rinses off with them. Together with bentonite it is the physical half of Renewa, alongside the olive and cranberry seed powders.
In 75 adults with oily or combination skin, a kaolin-and-bentonite-based clay mask used twice weekly for 4 weeks significantly lowered sebum and improved skin evenness, hydration and water loss, with less dryness reported. Finished-product study, not kaolin alone.

Study results describe research on the individual ingredient, not clinical testing of this finished formula. Individual results vary.

HOW TO USE

ONCE A WEEK. THEN LISTEN.

Follow with Clerra mist and Signal Synq, then Everlume or an Ekoa oil to seal. Start once a week and move to two or three times only if your skin stays calm.

A light tingle is normal. Stinging or lingering redness means back off to once a week and skip other acids that day.
