Ekoa™ Longevity Oil

SQUALANE · VITAMIN C ESTER · POMEGRANATE STEROLS · ASTAXANTHIN
The lipid + antioxidant finish. Face and body.

Steps 1 to 3 are mostly water, and water leaves. Ekoa is the last step: a thin layer of the lipids skin makes less of with age — squalane, jojoba, meadowfoam, borage, pomegranate sterols — with two oil-soluble antioxidants folded in, a vitamin C ester and astaxanthin. It holds the water in, works on the look of uneven tone and stands between your barrier and the day. One bottle, face to feet, morning and night.

How this supports longevity: replaces the lipids skin loses with age and protects them from daily oxidative stress, so the barrier stays supple, sealed and even in tone over time.

Is it for your skin?

Anyone whose skin feels tight after a shower or an hour after moisturizing. Dry, rough or dull skin, face or body. Anyone who wants vitamin C without the sting of the acid form. Skin that reacts to lotions — the fragrance-free version has no fragrance at all.

The science

Water-based steps hydrate; lipids decide whether the water stays. Ekoa is built from the lipid classes skin carries on its surface — squalane, wax esters from jojoba, plant sterols from pomegranate, and the fatty acids in meadowfoam, borage and oat — blended thin so it absorbs to a dry finish. Two oil-soluble antioxidants ride in that layer: a vitamin C ester for the look of tone, and astaxanthin to protect the lipids themselves from daily oxidative stress. Pressed on last, it slows water loss through the barrier without occluding it.

Key ingredients

Squalane · Jojoba seed oil · Meadowfoam seed oil · Pomegranate sterols · Oat lipids · Borage seed oil · Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (vitamin C ester) · Astaxanthin

Full ingredients

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Squalane, Isopropyl Myristate, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Oil, Punica Granatum Sterols, Tocopherol, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Parfum (Plant-Based Fragrance).

How to use

Ekoa goes on last, on damp skin. Face: warm two or three drops between your fingertips and press over Signal, morning and night. Body: a few pumps over arms, legs and anywhere that runs dry, straight out of the shower, massaged until it disappears. On the driest spots, press Everlume balm over the top at night. A little covers a lot.

NOW

FEEL IT

A few drops on the face, a few pumps on the body, pressed onto damp skin. It sinks in within a minute and leaves a soft satin finish — no film, no shine — so you can dress or put makeup on straight after.

NEXT

LESS DRY, MORE EVEN

With lipids and sterols back in the barrier, water leaves more slowly, and skin that felt tight by afternoon stops doing that. Over the first weeks the vitamin C ester starts on the look of uneven tone.

OVER TIME

A BARRIER THAT KEEPS UP

Skin makes fewer surface lipids as it ages, and the ones it has take a beating from light, air and pollution. Replacing them daily and protecting them with two antioxidants is how skin stays smooth, supple and even instead of drifting toward dry, rough and dull.

WHAT'S IN IT. WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND.

KEY ACTIVES.
DOSED RIGHT.

Six plant lipids plus two oil-soluble antioxidants. Here is what the research says about the three doing the most work — studies on the ingredients, not on this bottle.

01 / 03
SQUALANE
13% OF SEBUM
Squalene makes up roughly 13% of your skin's own surface lipids and drops with age. Squalane is its stable, plant-derived form — the biggest ingredient in Ekoa, and the reason it absorbs to a dry touch instead of sitting on top like a grease.
Squalene is one of the main components of human skin surface lipids, at about 13% of sebum, and the review describes it as an emollient and antioxidant that supports hydration. Review of published lipid data, not a hydration trial on squalane alone.
02 / 03
VITAMIN C ESTER
12 WEEKS
Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, an oil-soluble vitamin C that stays stable in an oil and converts to vitamin C in skin. In Ekoa it works on the look of uneven tone and dark spots, face and body, without the sting of the acid form.
Open-label study, 35 adults aged 21–55, 12 weeks of a serum with tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate: pigmentation, fine lines, smoothness, firmness and elasticity all improved significantly versus baseline (p<0.0001), and water loss through the skin fell by week 4. The serum also contained a stabilizing antioxidant; no control group.
03 / 03
ASTAXANTHIN
8 WEEKS
A deep-red carotenoid from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, one of the strongest fat-soluble antioxidants known. It is what gives Ekoa its color, and it sits in the lipid layer to protect it from the oxidative stress that dulls tone.
Open-label study, 30 healthy women, 8 weeks of astaxanthin applied topically twice a day alongside a daily 6 mg oral dose: crow's-feet wrinkle depth, elasticity, age-spot size and skin texture improved significantly. Combined oral and topical, no control group; manufacturer-funded.

Study results describe research on the individual ingredient, not clinical testing of this finished formula. Individual results vary.

HOW TO USE

DAMP SKIN. LAST STEP. DONE.

Oils go on last — a water-based serum put over it will not get through. If you feel greasy afterwards, you used too much.

32–3 drops on the face, a few pumps over damp body skin
4Makeup or clothes once it has settled
PM
1Cleanse with Tetra Oleum, Renewa on exfoliation nights
2Signal, then your hydrator
3Ekoa over the top, face to feet
4Optional: Everlume balm on heels, elbows, hands
