Charcoal Tea Tree Face & Body Bar Soap

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL · TEA TREE · COLD-PROCESS BAR
The deeper clean that doesn't take the barrier with it.

Oily, congested skin usually gets handed a harsh wash, and the tightness afterwards is treated as proof it worked. This is a cold-process bar built on coconut, palm kernel and olive oils, with activated charcoal to pick up excess oil and grime and tea tree essential oil to keep things clear. It cleans deeply, rinses clean and leaves skin comfortable, not squeaky. Face and body. Step 1 of the routine.

How this supports longevity: clears excess oil and buildup without stripping, so the barrier stays intact while pores stay clear.

Is it for your skin?

Oily or combination skin. Anyone prone to blemishes on the face, back or chest. Anyone who wants a deeper clean than a cream cleanser gives, without the stripped feeling of a harsh wash. One bar for face and body.

The science

Detergent bars clean by dissolving lipids, yours included. This is a true cold-process soap: coconut, palm kernel and olive oils are saponified slowly in small batches, which leaves a share of free oils in the finished bar to condition skin as it cleans. Activated charcoal adds surface area that adsorbs excess sebum and grime so they rinse away with the lather, and tea tree essential oil gives the bar its clarifying character. Deep clean, barrier left alone.

NOW

FEEL IT

A dense, dark lather that rinses fast and clean. Skin feels fresh and matte without the tight, pulled feeling a harsh wash leaves behind.

NEXT

CLEARER SURFACE

Used daily, excess oil and buildup have less chance to sit in pores, so the skin's surface looks smoother and more even over the first weeks.

OVER TIME

CLEAN WITHOUT THE COST

Most breakouts get a harsh wash and a stripped barrier. Cleaning deeply while leaving the barrier alone is what lets the rest of the routine do its work.

WHAT'S IN IT. WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND.

KEY ACTIVES.
DOSED RIGHT.

Activated charcoal and tea tree on a cold-process oil base. Here is what published research says about the three doing the most work — studies on the ingredients, not on this bar.

01 / 03
ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
-21% SEBUM
Charcoal processed to open up a huge internal surface area, so it adsorbs oil and grime onto itself. In this bar it picks up excess sebum and the day's buildup and takes them down the drain with the lather.
Twenty women aged 20 to 60 used a cleanser containing charcoal powder, centella extract and pearl powder. Sebum area fell 21% and pore area 18% versus before use, measured by facial imaging. Combination cleanser, small uncontrolled study.
02 / 03
TEA TREE OIL
12 WEEKS
Essential oil from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, one of the most studied botanicals for blemish-prone skin. Here it gives the bar its clean, medicinal scent and its clarifying edge.
In an open-label pilot study, 14 adults finished 12 weeks using a tea tree oil gel and face wash twice daily. Average facial blemish count fell from 23.7 to 10.7 (p<0.0001). Leave-on gel plus wash, no control group, small panel.
03 / 03
COCONUT OIL
2 WEEKS
The backbone of the bar. Saponified coconut oil gives a quick, dense lather, and the unsaponified fraction a cold-process soap keeps behind is what leaves skin conditioned rather than stripped.
Randomized double-blind trial, 34 people with mild to moderate dry skin, applying coconut oil to the legs twice daily for 2 weeks. Skin hydration and surface lipids increased significantly, with no rise in water loss. Leave-on oil, not a soap.

Study results describe research on the individual ingredient, not clinical testing of this finished formula. Individual results vary.

HOW TO USE

LATHER. RINSE. DONE.

Wet the bar and work up a lather between your hands or on a washcloth. Massage over face and body, avoiding the eye area, then rinse with warm water. Use morning and night, or once a day on drier skin. Let the bar drain dry between uses so it lasts.

Tea tree has a strong, clean scent and can feel bracing on very dry or reactive skin. Start once a day and see how your skin takes it.
