EVERY AGE Serum Rebound 60s

SERUM FOR SKIN IN ITS 60s · VITAMIN C ESTER · BAKUCHIOL · ASTAXANTHIN
The fullest-strength serum, for the decade that earned it.

In your 60s and beyond skin is thinner, drier and slower to bounce back, and most brands stop paying attention at 40. Rebound is our fullest-strength serum: the highest dose of oil-soluble vitamin C in the range for tone, bakuchiol for the look of lines, astaxanthin and CoQ10 against daily oxidative stress, and a lipid cushion of oat, evening primrose, prickly pear and pomegranate sterols so the barrier holds its water. Goes on last. Step 4 of the routine.

$110.00

How this supports longevity: replaces the barrier lipids skin makes less of after 60, so it holds water and stays comfortable while the actives work on the look of tone and lines.

Is it for your skin?

Skin in its 60s and beyond: thinner, drier, slower to bounce back, and tired of being an afterthought. Anyone who wants the strongest formula in the range but cannot tolerate acids or retinol. Skin that needs its last step to hold water in, not just add it.

The science

After 60 skin makes much less of its own lipids, collagen and elastin, so it holds less water, feels fragile and springs back slowly. Rebound works on all three at once. Ceramide NP with rice lipids puts back the mortar between skin cells, and barrier-mirroring lipids — oat, evening primrose, prickly pear seed, pomegranate sterols, squalane — slow water loss and give thin skin cushion. The oil-soluble vitamin C ester works on the look of tone; bakuchiol and lupin seed extract on the look of lines and firmness. Astaxanthin, CoQ10 and vitamin E take on daily oxidative stress, and propolis keeps it calm. Being oil-based, it goes on last and seals in whatever went before it.

How to use

NOW

FEEL IT

A rich but fast-absorbing oil that takes the tight, papery feeling out of skin straight away. No grease, no film; skin looks rested within the first week.

NEXT

CUSHION BACK

Oat, evening primrose, prickly pear and pomegranate lipids slow water loss and give thin skin some cushion. Fine lines and rough patches look softer over the first two to four weeks.

OVER TIME

RESILIENCE

The vitamin C ester, bakuchiol and astaxanthin work slowly on the look of tone, lines and elasticity. Twelve weeks of daily use is where the change shows, and it holds as long as you keep going.

KEY ACTIVES.
DOSED RIGHT.

Our highest vitamin C dose, a retinol alternative and a red algae antioxidant in a lipid-rich base. Here is what the research says about the three doing the most work — studies on the ingredients, not on this bottle.

01 / 03
VITAMIN C ESTER
12 WEEKS
Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, a fat-soluble vitamin C that stays stable in oil and converts to vitamin C in skin. Rebound carries our highest dose of it, for the look of uneven tone, dark spots and a firmer surface, without the sting of the acid form.
Open-label study, 35 adults aged 21–55, 12 weeks of a serum with tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate: pigmentation, fine lines, smoothness, firmness and elasticity all improved significantly versus baseline (p<0.0001), and water loss through the skin fell by week 4. The serum also contained a stabilizing antioxidant; no control group.
02 / 03
BAKUCHIOL
12 WEEKS
A plant compound from the babchi seed that switches on many of the same skin pathways as retinol. It works on the appearance of lines and uneven tone without retinol's peeling or sting — which matters more on thinner skin.
Randomized, double-blind trial, 44 people, 12 weeks: bakuchiol 0.5% cream twice daily reduced wrinkle surface area and hyperpigmentation as well as retinol 0.5%, with no statistical difference between the two. Retinol users reported more scaling and stinging.
03 / 03
ASTAXANTHIN
8 WEEKS
A deep-red carotenoid from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, one of the strongest fat-soluble antioxidants known. In Rebound it sits alongside CoQ10 and vitamin E to protect skin lipids from daily oxidative stress, the thing that dulls tone and stiffens the look of skin.
Open-label study, 30 healthy women, 8 weeks of astaxanthin applied topically twice a day alongside a daily 6 mg oral dose: crow's-feet wrinkle depth, elasticity, age-spot size and skin texture improved significantly. Combined oral and topical, no control group; manufacturer-funded.

Study results describe research on the individual ingredient, not clinical testing of this finished formula. Individual results vary.

Contains bakuchiol, which we suggest skipping during pregnancy — Ekoa Face Oil is the swap. Contains white lupin, a legume, and propolis, a bee product.
