I started Urthy because I couldn't find what worked for me.
I have the early markers of autoimmune disease, and for years I watched products that other people loved cause headaches, breakouts, flares, and reactions I couldn't explain. The products marketed as "clean" often didn't perform. The products that performed often contained ingredients my body didn't tolerate.
I got tired of choosing. So I started formulating.
The first products were for me. Then for my friends. Then for the people who kept asking what I was using.
I've been formulating my entire life. Whether it was fuels, food, fragrance, or skincare, I've always been fascinated by how ingredients work together to create an outcome.
Different materials. Same discipline.
Every ingredient earns its place.
That's still how we formulate today.
Every Urthy formula is developed from scratch in our Marietta studio. We write formulas. We don't source them.
How We Got Here
Urthy began with a candle in my sister's garage.
Since then, I've evolved it into something much bigger: a skin-forward brand built for people looking for better answers, not more products.
What started with fragrance eventually led me to formulation, skincare, and a deeper understanding of how ingredients, skin, and the nervous system work together. Today, that philosophy shapes everything we create.
