Everlume™ Lip Balm

CERAMIDE NP · CHOLESTEROL · HYALURONIC ACID · POMEGRANATE STEROLS
The balm that fixes the barrier, not just the feeling.

Lips have no oil glands and almost no barrier of their own, which is why most balms only work until they wear off. Everlume Lip Balm puts the actual barrier lipids back — ceramide NP, cholesterol and phytosphingosine in the ratio skin uses — with encapsulated hyaluronic acid for water and plant sterols and butters to hold it there. Satin finish, not gloss. Step 4, as often as you need it.

$22.00

How this supports longevity: rebuilds the lip barrier with the same lipids it is made of, so lips stay smooth and comfortable instead of needing constant reapplication.

Is it for your skin?

Anyone who reapplies lip balm all day and is still dry. Chapped, flaking or cracked lips, especially in winter or on flights. Anyone who wants a treatment balm with a satin finish rather than a gloss. Lips that sting with menthol or flavored balms.

The science

Lip skin is thin, has no sebaceous glands and holds very little of the lipid mortar — ceramides, cholesterol, fatty acids — that keeps the rest of the skin sealed. That is why lips dry first and why most balms only mask it. Everlume Lip Balm supplies that mortar directly: ceramide NP, cholesterol and phytosphingosine to fill the gaps, encapsulated hyaluronic acid released as the balm melts to bring water in, and pomegranate sterols, squalane and illipe and cocoa butters to slow it leaving. Bisabolol and oat kernel oil keep it calm on lips that react to everything else.

Key ingredients

Illipe butter · Cocoa butter · Squalane · Meadowfoam seed oil · Oat kernel oil · Cloudberry seed oil · Pomegranate sterols · Encapsulated sodium hyaluronate · Ceramide NP · Phytosphingosine · Cholesterol · Bisabolol · Tocopherol (vitamin E)

How to use

Glide on as often as lips feel dry, morning and night at minimum. For lips that are cracked or flaking, apply a thicker layer before bed and leave it to work overnight. Keep the cap closed between uses and store it somewhere cool — it is a real butter-and-wax balm and will soften in a hot car.

NOW

FEEL IT

Melts the moment it touches your lips and settles to a soft satin. Dryness and that pulled-tight feeling ease straight away, and it does not slide off or stick to hair.

NEXT

FEWER REAPPLICATIONS

As ceramides and cholesterol fill the gaps in the lip barrier, water stops leaving so fast. Flaking and vertical dryness lines soften over the first week or two.

OVER TIME

LIPS THAT LOOK AFTER THEMSELVES

A barrier that holds water is a barrier that needs less from you. Used morning and night, Everlume is what keeps lips smooth through winter, flights and heating.

WHAT'S IN IT. WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND.

KEY ACTIVES.
DOSED RIGHT.

A ceramide complex, encapsulated hyaluronic acid and plant sterols in a wax-and-butter base. Here is what the research says about the three doing the most work — studies on the ingredients, not on this tube.

01 / 03
CERAMIDE NP COMPLEX
BARRIER RECOVERY
Ceramide NP is the most abundant ceramide in human skin, built on a phytosphingosine backbone. Here it comes with cholesterol and phytosphingosine — the same three-part lipid mix the barrier is made of, so it fills the gaps rather than covering them.
In 27 healthy adult volunteers whose forearm barrier had been weakened by a topical corticosteroid, a cream containing a ceramide NP–enriched lipid mixture significantly improved barrier recovery, stratum corneum integrity and hydration compared with the vehicle cream, and raised ceramide NP levels in the skin itself. Forearm skin, not lips.
02 / 03
HYALURONIC ACID
60 DAYS
Sodium hyaluronate binds many times its weight in water. In an oil-based balm it would normally do nothing, so it is encapsulated in hydrogenated castor oil and released as the balm melts on your lips.
76 women aged 30–60 applied 0.1% hyaluronic acid creams of five different molecular weights around one eye twice daily for 60 days, with a vehicle cream around the other. Every hyaluronic acid cream significantly improved skin hydration and elasticity versus vehicle; the lower-weight versions also reduced measured wrinkle depth. Periocular skin, not lips.
03 / 03
POMEGRANATE STEROLS
+94%
Plant sterols pressed from pomegranate seed. A waxy lipid that behaves like lanolin — it integrates into the barrier and slows water loss — without the animal source. It is what gives the balm its cushion without gloss.
In a 24-hour moisturization test on 16 healthy volunteers aged 20–45, skin hydration rose 94% versus baseline after one application of the pomegranate sterol fraction, measured by conductance probe on the forearm against a standard moisturizing cream control. Supplier in-vivo data, small panel.

Study results describe research on the individual ingredient, not clinical testing of this finished formula. Individual results vary.

HOW TO USE

MELTS ON. STAYS PUT.

It sets to a satin finish, not a shine. If you want gloss, this is not that.
