EVERY AGE Serum Renew 50s

SERUM FOR SKIN IN ITS 50s · VITAMIN C ESTER · BAKUCHIOL · ACMELLA
The serum for skin that feels depleted, not defeated.

In your 50s skin gets drier, tone dulls faster and expression lines stay put. Renew is an oil-based serum built for that decade: an oil-soluble vitamin C for tone, bakuchiol for the look of lines, acmella flower extract to soften the look of expression lines, astaxanthin and CoQ10 against daily oxidative stress, and rosehip, blackcurrant, oat and pomegranate lipids so the barrier holds its water. Goes on last, over your water-based steps. Step 4 of the routine.

$75.00

How this supports longevity: feeds the barrier the lipids it makes less of after menopause, so skin stays comfortable and holds water while the actives work on the look of tone and lines.

Is it for your skin?

Skin in its 50s: menopause-era dryness, tone that dulls faster, expression lines that stay after the expression has gone. Anyone who wants full-strength renewal but cannot tolerate acids or retinol. Skin that needs its last step to hold water in, not just add it.

The science

Through the 50s estrogen falls and with it skin's own lipids and collagen, so skin dries faster, tone dulls and lines deepen. Renew works on each. Lipids that mirror the barrier — rosehip, blackcurrant, oat, pomegranate sterols, squalane — slow water loss so skin stays supple. The oil-soluble vitamin C ester works on the look of tone; bakuchiol and lupin seed extract on the look of lines and firmness; acmella flower extract on expression lines. Astaxanthin, CoQ10 and vitamin E take on daily oxidative stress, and propolis keeps it calm. Being oil-based, it goes on last and seals in whatever went before it.

How to use

Shake well. Press 3–5 drops into clean, slightly damp skin, morning and night. Oils go last — after Signal Synq or any water-based serum, mist or moisturizer, so it seals them in. Massage until absorbed, paying attention to the eye and mouth area; give it a minute before makeup.

NOW

FEEL IT

A silky oil that sinks in within a minute and takes the tight, dry feeling with it. Skin looks less flat and more rested, and makeup sits smoother on top.

NEXT

HOLDS WATER

Rosehip, blackcurrant, oat and pomegranate lipids slow evaporation from the barrier. Over the first two to four weeks dryness and tightness ease and fine lines look softer.

OVER TIME

RENEWAL

The vitamin C ester, bakuchiol and acmella work slowly on the look of tone, expression lines and texture. Twelve weeks of daily use is where the change shows, and it holds as long as you keep going.

WHAT'S IN IT. WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND.

KEY ACTIVES.
DOSED RIGHT.

An oil-soluble vitamin C, a retinol alternative and a line-softening flower extract in a lipid-rich base. Here is what the research says about the three doing the most work — studies on the ingredients, not on this bottle.

01 / 03
VITAMIN C ESTER
12 WEEKS
Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, a fat-soluble form of vitamin C that stays stable in oil and converts to vitamin C in skin. It works on the look of uneven tone and dullness and supports a firmer-looking surface without the sting of the acid form.
Open-label study, 35 adults aged 21–55, 12 weeks of a serum with tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate: pigmentation, fine lines, smoothness, firmness and elasticity all improved significantly versus baseline (p<0.0001), and water loss through the skin fell by week 4. The serum also contained a stabilizing antioxidant; no control group.
02 / 03
BAKUCHIOL
12 WEEKS
A plant compound from the babchi seed that switches on many of the same skin pathways as retinol. It works on the appearance of fine lines and uneven tone without retinol's peeling or sting, so it can be used morning and night.
Randomized, double-blind trial, 44 people, 12 weeks: bakuchiol 0.5% cream twice daily reduced wrinkle surface area and hyperpigmentation as well as retinol 0.5%, with no statistical difference between the two. Retinol users reported more scaling and stinging.
03 / 03
ACMELLA FLOWER EXTRACT
-15% WRINKLES
Spilanthes acmella, a small yellow flower from South America whose active, spilanthol, relaxes the look of repeated expression lines around the eyes and mouth. It is the fast-acting part of the formula.
Randomized, half-face, reference-controlled study, 2 weeks of a serum with acmella extract around the eyes and mouth: wrinkle parameters fell about 15%, roughness 20–30%, and hydration rose 10–40% (p<0.05). Water-based serum, small panel, short study.

Study results describe research on the individual ingredient, not clinical testing of this finished formula. Individual results vary.

HOW TO USE

LAST STEP. PRESS IT IN.

Shake well. Press 3–5 drops into clean, slightly damp skin, morning and night. Oils go last — after Signal Synq or any water-based serum, mist or moisturizer, so it seals them in. Massage until absorbed, paying attention to the eye and mouth area; give it a minute before makeup.

Contains bakuchiol, which we suggest skipping during pregnancy — Ekoa Face Oil is the swap. Contains white lupin, a legume, and propolis, a bee product.
