Turmeric Manuka Honey Face & Body Bar Soap

TURMERIC · MANUKA HONEY · COLD-PROCESS BAR
The bar for skin that looks tired.

Dull, uneven skin usually gets scrubbed, which makes it look worse. This is a cold-process bar of coconut, palm kernel and olive oils with turmeric for its antioxidants and manuka honey as a natural humectant. It cleans thoroughly, leaves skin soft, and over time helps the surface look brighter and more even. Face and body. Step 1 of the routine.

How this supports longevity: cleans with humectant honey and antioxidant turmeric on a mild soap base, so skin keeps its water and its barrier while it is washed.

Is it for your skin?

Skin that looks dull or uneven. Dry or normal skin that wants a soap it can use on the face. Anyone who wants brightness without acids or scrubs. One bar for face and body.

The science

Skin looks dull when it is dry, over-cleansed or carrying a layer of buildup. This bar tackles all three gently. Coconut, palm kernel and olive oils are saponified slowly in small batches, leaving free oils in the finished bar to condition skin as it cleans. Manuka honey's sugars are humectants that pull water toward the surface, and turmeric supplies curcuminoid antioxidants that help skin look brighter and more even in tone. Hydrated skin reflects light; that is the brightness you see.

NOW

FEEL IT

A warm, golden lather that rinses clean and leaves skin soft rather than tight. Honey gives it a slight cushion you can feel on the face.

NEXT

BRIGHTER SURFACE

Skin that is cleaned without being stripped holds more water, and hydrated skin reflects light better. The surface starts to look fresher and more even over the first weeks.

OVER TIME

EVEN, NOT SCRUBBED

Brightness that comes from a healthy barrier lasts. Used daily, this bar keeps the surface clear and hydrated so Signal and the rest of the routine have somewhere to work.

WHAT'S IN IT. WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND.

KEY ACTIVES.
DOSED RIGHT.

Turmeric and manuka honey on a cold-process oil base. Here is what published research says about the three doing the most work — studies on the ingredients, not on this bar.

01 / 03
TURMERIC
8 WEEKS
Ground Curcuma longa root, rich in curcuminoid antioxidants and used on skin for centuries. In this bar it gives the color and helps skin look brighter and more even in tone.
Half-face, cream-base-controlled study in 33 healthy volunteers with visible facial wrinkles, applying a curcuminoid cream nightly for 8 weeks. From week 3, wrinkles, hydration, melanin readings and elasticity were significantly better on the treated side, with no irritation. Leave-on cream, curcuminoid extract rather than whole turmeric.
02 / 03
MANUKA HONEY
5 DAYS
Honey from the New Zealand manuka bush. Its sugars are humectants that pull water toward the skin, which is why a honey soap rinses off softer than a plain one.
In a human skin test, an emulsion with 10% manuka honey hydrated skin about as well as sodium hyaluronate, and 5 days of twice-daily use reduced detergent-induced redness and improved barrier recovery, measured by capacitance, color reflectance and water loss. Leave-on emulsion, small study.
03 / 03
COCONUT OIL
2 WEEKS
The backbone of the bar. Saponified coconut oil gives a quick, dense lather, and the unsaponified fraction a cold-process soap keeps behind is what leaves skin conditioned rather than stripped.
Randomized double-blind trial, 34 people with mild to moderate dry skin, applying coconut oil to the legs twice daily for 2 weeks. Skin hydration and surface lipids increased significantly, with no rise in water loss. Leave-on oil, not a soap.

Study results describe research on the individual ingredient, not clinical testing of this finished formula. Individual results vary.

HOW TO USE

LATHER. RINSE. DONE.

Wet the bar and work up a lather between your hands or on a washcloth. Massage over face and body, then rinse with warm water. Use morning and night. Let the bar drain dry between uses so it lasts.

Turmeric can leave a faint yellow tint on light washcloths. It rinses off skin completely.
