Lustara™ Eye Serum

OIL-BASED VITAMIN C · VITAMIN K · SPILANTHES · GREEN COFFEE OIL
The eye serum that stays where you put it.

The skin around your eyes is the thinnest on your face, with fewer oil glands and more movement than anywhere else, so it shows dryness, darkness and fine lines first. Lustara is an oil-based serum built for that skin: a stable, oil-soluble vitamin C for the look of tone, vitamin K for the appearance of dark circles, spilanthes extract for the look of expression lines, and squalane, prickly pear and meadowfoam oils to cushion the barrier. It is an oil, so it does not migrate into the eye. Step 3 of the routine, morning and night.

How this supports longevity: keeps the thinnest skin on the face supple and protected, so the appearance of lines and darkness stays in check over time.

Is it for your skin?

Anyone whose under-eyes look darker or more tired than they feel. Fine lines and crepey texture at the outer corners. Skin that stings with water-based eye serums or has creams migrate into the eye. Anyone wearing concealer who wants a base that does not slide.

The science

Eye-area skin is thin, low in oil glands and in constant motion, so it dehydrates faster and shows blood vessels and fine lines earlier than the rest of the face. Lustara is built as an oil for two reasons. First, oil-soluble actives suit thin skin: tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate delivers vitamin C without the sting of the water-soluble form, and vitamin K, coenzyme Q10 and vitamin E are all lipid-soluble. Second, an oil stays where it is rolled and does not creep into the eye. Squalane, prickly pear seed oil, meadowfoam oil and pomegranate sterols replenish the barrier lipids the area is short of. Spilanthes extract with astragalus softens the look of expression lines, licorice root evens the look of tone, green coffee oil and bisabolol keep it fresh and calm.

How to use

Roll one pass along the orbital bone, from the inner corner out and under the eye, morning and night. Press in gently with a fingertip until it absorbs; do not rub or drag. Use after Clerra and Signal Synq and before Everlume or your Ekoa oil. Keep it on the bone, not the lash line.

NOW

FEEL IT

A light oil that glides on with the rollerball and presses in without residue, so it sits comfortably under concealer. Fine dry lines look softer straight away because they are no longer dry.

NEXT

BRIGHTER, SMOOTHER

Over the first weeks the under-eye looks less shadowed and more even in tone, and crepey texture smooths as the lipids stay in the barrier instead of leaving it.

OVER TIME

STEADY, NOT DRAMATIC

Vitamin C and K, coenzyme Q10 and vitamin E work slowly. Used twice a day for a few months, the eye area holds its tone and texture rather than getting ahead of the rest of your face.

WHAT'S IN IT. WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND.

KEY ACTIVES.
DOSED RIGHT.

Oil-soluble vitamins in a squalane and seed-oil base. Here is what published research says about the three doing the most work — studies on the ingredients, not on this bottle.

01 / 03
TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCORBATE
12 WEEKS
Vitamin C joined to a fatty acid so it dissolves in oil and stays stable, unlike plain ascorbic acid, which breaks down in water and stings thin skin. It supports the look of even tone and firmness around the eye without the irritation the water-soluble form can cause.
In 35 healthy adults aged 21–55 using a serum built on tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (with acetyl zingerone) daily for 12 weeks, instrument measures showed significant decreases in pigmentation and in fine lines and wrinkles, and increases in smoothness, firmness and elasticity (all p<0.0001). Open-label, no control group, combination product.
02 / 03
VITAMIN K
47% IMPROVED
Phytonadione, the plant form of vitamin K. Topically it is used for the bluish, vascular kind of under-eye darkness that comes from blood pooling in thin skin rather than from pigment.
In 57 adults with dark under-eye circles, a gel with 2% phytonadione plus small amounts of retinol and vitamins C and E applied twice daily for 8 weeks reduced the vascular darkness in 27 of 57 (47%) and slightly reduced lower-lid wrinkles. It did not clearly change pigment-type darkness. Open-label study, combination gel.
03 / 03
SPILANTHES EXTRACT
-26%
Spilanthes acmella, a small yellow-flowered plant whose active molecule, spilanthol, eases the micro-tension in expression muscles. In an oil extract alongside astragalus root, it is what softens the look of crow's-feet and fine expression lines.
In 10 women aged 61–65, an oil extract of Spilanthes acmella and Astragalus membranaceus at 1% reduced the depth of the primary wrinkle by 26% versus placebo five minutes after one application, measured by fringe-projection imaging, with the effect building over 28 days of twice-daily use. Supplier in-vivo data, very small single-blind panel.

Study results describe research on the individual ingredient, not clinical testing of this finished formula. Individual results vary.

HOW TO USE

ONE PASS. PRESS. DONE.

It is an oil, so a single pass is enough. If concealer slides, you used too much or did not give it a minute to sink in.
