Made with a clean-burning blend of coconut and vegetable waxes and phthalate-free fragrance oils, you can rest easy knowing you and your family are breathing in only safe ingredients.

Delight your senses with our signature wooden wicks. They burn longer and cleaner than cotton wicks, and they give off a cozy, crackling ambiance – a treat for your nose, eyes, and ears. They are eco-friendly clean burning wicks made from FSC Certified Wood.

Breathe easy – our clean-burning candles are made from a blend of coconut wax and natural vegetable wax and are scented with fragrance oils that are completely free of toxins, parabens, and phthalates.

Scent Notes of Calabrian Lemon, Fresh Basil, Jade Waters, Green Lilac, Sea Breeze, Delicate Juniper.

To keep your wooden wick in tip top shape, keep it trimmed. Before each use, trim it to 1/4 of an inch and remove any charred wood.

To ensure more even burning, allow your melt pool to reach the edges of the vessel.

Limit your candle's burn time to 4 hours at once, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Candle should burn for 60+ hours if used properly.

Our candles are designed differently than most. We have engineered them to burn cleaner and last longer than most candles on the market. Our scents are also phthalate-free which allows for headache-free enjoyment!

Who We Are

Co-founders and sisters Ali and Jen began Urthy Scents after experiencing health concerns triggered by hormone-disrupting additives. Due to autoimmune issues, using clean and nontoxic home and body products was more than a preference – it was a necessity. They wanted high quality, pleasantly fragrant products without putting their health at risk. So, they decided to make their own. 

What started as a hobby – making clean-burning coconut wax candles during the coronavirus pandemic – quickly turned into a passion. Since then, we’ve expanded our product line to include body products, fine fragrances, home products, and bath products – all with safe, non-toxic ingredients.
